Traditionally, Vertical Shaft-Up and Shaft-Down applications have presented a special challenge for washdown motors. Not anymore! Eliminate water pooling and shaft seal problems with our designs.

Stainless Motors' Vertical Shaft Up motor utilizes an optimized, tapered endbell for easy drainage, along with an O-ring sealed rotating umbrella shield which eliminates the possibility of water entering past the shaft seals.

Our Vertical Shaft Down motor features a specially designed opposite drive end (ODE) endbell, as well as seals and O-rings designed to prevent water entry, keep your motor running, and ensure you don’t lose time or money.
