ASSEMBLY TECHNICIAN

Responsibilities

• Read blueprints and verify the parts required prior to assembly
• Assemble electric motors and gear boxes according to prints and specifications
• QC ‐ ensure that all products meet the company's quality specifications
• Inform supervisors of any part or equipment defect to ensure prompt attention
• Verify correct quantities of components parts
• Ability to manage parts inventory and basic reporting
• Provide support to shipping & receiving as needed

Skills/Qualifications

• Ability to read blueprints and schematics
• Able to measure and use Micrometers, Calipers, and Height Gauges
• General knowledge of hand and power tools
• Detailed oriented and possess high quality workmanship

Education/Experience

• High school diploma or GED required
• Math requirement ‐ Ability to add and subtract fractions
• 2 years experience in general assembly preferred

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to lift 50+ pounds at times
• Must be able to pass a pre‐employment drug screen and background check
• Ability to stand for long periods of time

Job Type:

• Full‐time permanent position
• Work Schedule: Monday ‐ Friday 7:00 am ‐ 3:30 pm
